Merge Fields in Text Message Editor


Merge fields are now available when creating text messages for text campaigns and text automation steps. When building a text template, you’ll now see a merge field dropdown that allows you to insert dynamic fields (such as first name, company name, etc.) directly into your message.


This brings text messaging in line with email functionality and makes personalization easier across campaigns and automations.

Matter Boards


We’ve introduced Matter Boards for legal clients. Similar to Policy and Donation Boards, Matter Boards allow users to track legal matters in a board-style view.


Available for accounts using Clio, Practice Panther, and MyCase. All Matter Board data pulled from an integration will be read-only on the Matter Board, meaning that it cannot be edited or changed within Levitate.  Spreadsheet-import users can also utilize Matter Boards. Additionally, a sample Excel file is now available directly from the spreadsheet upload page to help users format Matter imports correctly.

Integration Updates


Our Integration Engineering team has moved Clio, Wealthbox, and NASA Eclipse to our new integration pipeline. Existing accounts will be merged by default into the new pipeline, which means the setup process and settings available to the internal Levitate team will be updated, but our users will not be affected.


NASA Eclipse has been updated to full API integration, meaning its data will now pull into Levitate more frequently. Setting up NASA Eclipse with new Levitate accounts will require permission to connect with the NASA tenant. Our Success and Implementation teams can assist in facilitating this connection.

Donation Board: Details Field


A new Details field has been added to donations. It can be added when manually creating individual donations or when importing spreadsheet data. This allows accounts to store more contextual information directly on the Donation Board.

Template Keyboard Permissions Update


We recently added the ability to create keyword-based folders to organize content. To improve access to this organization across the content library, we've made it so that all users can now add and edit folder keywords for templates. This applies to email, social, and HTML newsletter templates.

Cetera AI Updates


For Cetera accounts, AI Assistant access is now available for Levitate-related questions and content generation. There are limitations on how the AI Assistant can be used for content generation, and each time content is created using Levitate's AI Assistant, a new notification will appear. Cetera users cannot access Levitate's translation tool when creating content as part of these updates.

New Branding Options

We've added settings to configure your account's brand identity by including colors, fonts, images, and descriptions. When added, these details will be used by the Levitate AI to maintain brand consistency.


Your Success Specialist can add brand details on their end, or an account Admin can add them via the Admin-level settings in your account. To access these Admin-level settings, first click your name in the upper right of your dashboard, select Settings, select the Admin tab, and then open the Brand Settings section.


When accessing the Brand Settings, you can use the AI Autodiscover feature to pull your website and pick up on brand details. Brand details can also be added manually!



Autosave for Email Template Editor

A new checkbox has been added for email templates to allow the template to be autosaved so work is not lost during editing.


To access the autosave checkbox, the template must be created and saved first.



Tag Automation Cooldown

Tag-triggered automations can now be configured to allow multiple runs with a cooldown period between runs. 

Checkout Form Billing Information + Stripe Checkout Unification

We've updated the guest checkout form for Paid Events in Event Registration to collect name and address, mirroring how the donor checkout form is configured for the Donations Survey. This update improves customer tracking in Stripe. We've refactored and unified our Stripe checkout components between the Donation Survey and Event Registration.


Export Custom Dates for Clio V2 and Salesforce V2 Users

The ability to export custom date fields for Clio V2 integration users has been added. This update also fixes a bug that prevented Salesforce V2 custom fields from exporting.
