Welcome to Levitate
Welcome to Levitate! We are excited that you're here. Here's a beginners guide to show you around the Levitate dashboards and features.
Dashboard
The dashboard is where things get started. You'll see the navigation bar, timely updates like birthday and renewal reminders, updates on action items and contacts to categorize, satisfaction ratings from surveys you'll send, and even Google reviews that you can respond to!
You'll also get to see metrics on what an impact personal outreach can make!
Campaigns
Through Campaigns, you can browse, create, schedule, and send through email, social media, on handwritten cards, through text messages, and by blog posts!
All campaigns will be tailored to your industry and specialties— if you're an insurance agency you'll see timely content about premium trends, if you're a lawyer you'll see legislative updates that might impact your clients. Everyone will see our simple, yet powerful, keep in touch emails for birthdays and important key dates.

Content Calendar
The Content Calendar will show you what's already scheduled, and even what your Success Specialist has added to your calendar to be approved! If you turn on suggestions, you'll see suggested content to send out and post via email, social media, and blogs based on the time of year and your industry.
Contacts
Contacts is your Levitate equivalent of a Rolodex. See all the contacts you own, filter using our Advanced Search feature, search by tags, add tags, start an email, text, handwritten card send, or automation with the click of a button.
You can even export contact data to a spreadsheet, change contact visibility, update ownership, and add connections. Your one stop shop to seeing who needs to hear from you!
Surveys
Create and check in on surveys here— you can create a Customer Satisfaction Survey that polls clients on how satisfied they are with your services, a Custom Survey that's totally customizable with any questions to send out to clients, and create Event Registration surveys that allow you to invite contacts to an event and collect their RSVPs.
Texting
Levitate knows how important one to one, authentic communication is for our users. Our ability to provide texting, a vital piece of business operations, relies on our registration process for all users who text through Levitate. If you want to access texting, reach out to your Success Specialist— they will walk you through the requirements and process.
We can provide you with a number, based on your location, to text with. We are also able to check and see if an existing number that you own can be used for texting on Levitate.
Once you're registered, you can text one-on-one, or send out text campaigns. Our text campaigns work similarly to our email campaigns— each text is sent out singularly to each contact, rather than lumping your contacts in a group text. You can attach files and pictures, and check your replies through our web or mobile app.
For our Financial clients, we offer text archiving in order to keep you compliant!
Notes & Actions
Notes are straightforward! Notes can be added to a contact profile from meetings or phone calls in order to store information directly associated with that contact.
Action Items in Levitate ensure that no task is left behind. Users can set action items associated with specific contacts. Admins can incorporate action items into Automation flows. This is also a great collaboration resource as users can assign action items to each other. On the contrary, Action Items can be set to private and only visible to the assignee. Most email providers allow Levitate to sync these action items to the assignee's calendar.
Automations
Automations allow you to set up a series of emails, text messages, handwritten cards, and more to go out automatically for birthdays, renewals, reviews, and more.

Data Boards
We have Donation Boards, Policy Boards, and Opportunity Boards that users can create in Levitate. The Donations Board tracks donations, campaigns, and donors. The Policies Board tracks policy data like renewals, premiums, and commissions. The Opportunities Boards are more open ended and can be used to track many types of biz opportunities!

Tags & Reports
Tags & Reports is where you can check in on Tags, Survey and Event Reports, Birthday and Birthdate Reports, and more!

To access your Levitate settings, click on your name in the upper right corner of your dashboard, a dropdown will appear and you'll choose Settings. Here, you can manage your contact and security information, connect and disconnect Social Media, update your signature, and manage account settings.
Glossary
- Action Item: An action item is a reminder that you are able to set about a specific contact. You are able to assign an action item due date and assign them to an employee or yourself. Action items are productivity-based, and you have the ability to check off action items when they are complete.
- Following a meeting, you may want to create an action item on a contact’s account using the plus button: “Life Insurance Quote” by next week.
- Keep in touch: You can set a schedule to keep in touch with an individual.
- You can mark “John Smith” for keep-in-touch every 30 days. If you contact him within that period, Levitate will know and push that reminder out for another 30 days.
- Key Fact: A key fact is a unique piece of information about a client that you can reference to appear personable and genuine. It can be date based and used for outreach, or more informational.
- When a client mentions in a call that they have twins, you can go to their profile and add this key fact, “Has twin girls.” That way, the next time you reach out, you can see this key fact, reference it, and appear more personable.
- Tag: A tag groups a set of contacts together. Tagging contacts makes it easier to keep-in-touch with a group and send group emails.
- If you have business throughout the country, you can create a tag-based off of the state. Other examples include line of business, renewal date, or active client.
- A tag for “boat insurance” based on line of business would allow for you to reach out to boat owners at the start of winter to remind them to winterize their boat.
- Any client that has bought a home in the past could be tagged as “past buyer”, then you can set a notification to keep in touch with this tag group every 6 months.
