Creating and posting blogs using Levitate
Now, Levitate provides users the ability to create blogs and post them directly to their websites!
For Levitate website users
If Levitate is your website provider and you'd like to get your website set up with our new blogging platform, send in a ticket to support@levitateapp.com.
For everyone else
If you have a website that is not hosted by Levitate, we can still most likely get a blog page set up for you! The key piece here is that you have access to your domain settings and DNS records, and website editor so that we can get the blog page we create pointed to your existing site and added as a link to your site's menu.
Pricing, plans, and availability vary based on plan— reach out directly to your Success Specialist about getting the blog feature turned on for setup and posting.

Don't have a blog connected to Levitate?
For users who do not have a Levitate website or a Levitate-hosted blog that allows direct blog posting, we've added the ability to copy blog content in text or HTML format. When creating or updating a blog post, click the Copy Content button and choose which form you'd like to copy. This will make it easier to post Levitate-created blogs to a non-connected site. HTML allows direct embedding on a site, and text allows the text to be copied and pasted as plain text.
Once blogs are enabled...
You can choose blog prompts and post them directly, or schedule them out, to post on your website.
When scheduling a blog post, you can type a date directly into the date field in MM/DD/YYYY format to jump to that date — the calendar picker and the text field stay in sync, so whichever you use the other updates automatically.

Your Success Specialist can assist with getting blog posts generated, queued, and posting during your content planning meetings.
Updating an Existing Blog Post
Once a blog has been created and posting using Levitate, it is able to be updated. To do this, you'll first navigate to the Content Calendar, find the blog post you'd like to edit, and click into the post. From there, edits can be made and will reflect almost instantaneously once saved and republished.
Formatting and Adding Elements to a Blog Post
When creating a blog, the text can be formatted in a few ways. The text can be bolded, underlined, and italicized. There are six header options, H1 being the biggest and H6 being the smallest. The appearance of the header will be based on the formatting of the website or Levitate hosted blog page.
Bulleted lists and numbered lists can be inserted.
Media, including a hyperlink, an image, and a YouTube thumbnail can be inserted.
Why a YouTube thumbnail?
When posting a blog to a web page video embedding is not supported, so as a way to share videos via blog post we provide the option to add a YouTube thumbnail that links directly to the video you'd like to share.
To add the thumbnail, click Insert and choose YouTube thumbnail, from there you'll be prompted to enter the YouTube video's URL. Once entered, the thumbnail for the video that is hyperlinked to the video itself will be inserted into the body of your blog.
AI Blog Generation
Levitate can generate a full blog post for you using AI. The AI blog generation pipeline produces long-form, FAQ-structured posts (typically 850–1,050 words) based on a topic or prompt you provide.
Web Search
The AI blog generation tool can search the web for current information while writing, so your generated posts can include recent statistics, news, or industry context — not just general knowledge.
Blog Hero Images
Blog posts generated through the AI Content Calendar include a 16:9 hero image sized for modern blog layouts, inserted at the top of the post automatically. This applies only to AI Content Calendar–generated posts — blog posts created any other way (including manually written posts) do not receive an auto-generated hero image, though you can always add your own.
FAQs
Q: Can I edit an AI-generated blog post before publishing?
A: Yes. After generating, the post opens in the blog editor where you can edit the text, swap the hero image, and adjust formatting before scheduling or publishing.
Q: What structure does an AI-generated blog follow?
A: AI-generated blogs use a long-form FAQ structure: an introduction, several question-and-answer sections covering the topic, and a closing section. Total length is typically 850–1,050 words.
Q: Can I use AI blog generation without a Levitate-hosted blog?
A: Yes. You can generate a post and then use the Copy Content button to copy the text or HTML and paste it into your own CMS or website.
