Exporting contacts from Levitate

Exporting contacts from Levitate is pretty simple. Watch the video below to see how to do it.

FAQs

Q: Is there a way to export a list of archived contacts?

A: Not directly, but there is a workaround using tags. When you restore a contact that was previously archived, Levitate automatically applies a "Restored" tag to it. So you could restore all of your archived contacts, export everyone with just the "Restored" tag, and then re-archive those contacts.

Q: How do I export only the contacts with a specific tag?

A: Filter your contacts by the tag first, then export. In the Contacts section, use the filter options to narrow the list to the tag you want (for example, "Elward"). Once the filtered list is showing, select all contacts, then choose Export from the actions bar. Levitate will export only the contacts in that filtered view, and the exported file includes each contact's tags along with their name, company, phone numbers, and email address.

Exporting other data

Contact export covers your contacts only. Other kinds of data are exported from their own areas of Levitate.

  • Text message history: A Super Admin can go to Reporting > Texting Report and choose Export All Text Messages to get the texting history for the whole account as a spreadsheet. See Text Message Reporting for the fields it includes. To get the history for a single contact, contact Support and they can provide it as a spreadsheet.
  • Text message media: The images and files themselves aren't packaged into the export. Instead, the spreadsheet's Media URLs column lists a download link for each attachment (left blank for HIPAA accounts).
  • Email campaigns: Each campaign's report is downloaded one at a time from its detail page in the Email Report. See Email Reporting.
  • Automations: To keep a record of an automation, take screenshots of its steps or copy the email and text message content into a document.
