The Keep in Touch Agent helps you build stronger relationships by identifying who you should reach out to, and why.
Instead of manually tracking follow-ups, the agent reviews your contacts, activity, and external signals to surface timely, personalized outreach suggestions.

Where to Find the Keep in Touch Agent
You can access the agent in two places:
Contacts Tab
- Navigate to Contacts → Keep in Touch
- This is your main workspace for viewing and managing suggestions

Dashboard
- A Keep in Touch card highlights top-priority contacts (score of 90+)
- Clicking the card takes you directly to your suggestions list
You’ll also see Keep in Touch insights in your daily and weekly digests, so you never miss an opportunity to connect.
How It Works
The Keep in Touch Agent runs through jobs that evaluate your contacts and generate suggestions.
What the Agent Looks At
For each contact, the agent reviews:
- Timeline activity (emails, notes, interactions)
- Whether outreach was personal vs. automated
- Data boards (like policy or donation boards)
- Career updates or external signals (like job changes)
- Events and other engagement history
It then assigns a score and surfaces the highest-priority contacts first.
Understanding Your Suggestions
In the Keep in Touch tab, you’ll see a unified list of suggested contacts, ordered by priority.
For each contact, you’ll get:
- Why they’re being suggested (clear reasoning)
- Score rationale (what factors contributed)
- Suggested outreach message
- Action items (like updating contact details)
- Web findings (if relevant)
This helps you quickly understand not just who to reach out to—but how to do it effectively.
Taking Action
Each suggestion is designed for thoughtful, one-to-one outreach.
Send Outreach
- Use the suggested message, which can pre-fill your email
- Customize as needed before sending
Add Notes
- Add a note about the contact (this carries across future suggestions)
Manage Suggestions
You have a few options for handling suggestions:

Snooze:
Temporarily dismiss the suggestion
→ It will be re-evaluated the next time the job runs

Don’t Suggest Again:
Permanently hide the contact from suggestions
→ You can still restore them later under Suppressed Contacts
Smart Follow-Up
Once you reach out to a contact, the agent recognizes the activity and will pause suggestions for that person for a period of time.
Creating & Managing Jobs
Jobs control how the Keep in Touch Agent finds and evaluates contacts.
Setting Up a Job
When creating a job, you’ll define:
1. Audience
Describe your audience in plain language, such as:
- “Clients I haven’t spoken to in 90 days”
- “Contacts in New York with a specific tag”
The system uses AI to translate this into a dynamic contact list.
2. Research Instructions
Guide the agent on what to prioritize, for example:
- “Focus on cross-sell opportunities”
- “Prioritize contacts with only one policy line”
3. Scope
- Private (User-level): Only visible to you
- Account-level: Can apply across users (admin-managed)
4. Schedule
- Run nightly (recommended), or
- Run manually when needed
AI Instructions & Personalization
You can improve suggestion quality by giving the agent more context.
Account-Level Instructions
- General information about your organization
Personal Instructions
- Who you are
- Your role or preferences
- Any guidance that helps the AI tailor outreach
This ensures suggestions feel relevant and avoids awkward messaging.
Job Visibility
- Admins can see:
- Account-level jobs
- Their own jobs
- Jobs created by other users
- Users can see:
- Jobs they created
- Account-level jobs where they own the contact
Additional Details
- Each job shows:
- Last run date
- Who created it
- Suggestions are re-scored each time the job runs
