Automations & Send Limits
Levitate automations automatically handle daily send limits. You do not need to duplicate or recreate automations that pause because a limit has been reached.
Automatic Resume Behavior
For Email Automations
- Daily limit: 250 emails per user per day
- When hit: The automation pauses, and the status shows "In Progress."
- What happens: Remaining emails automatically queue for the next day.
- Resume time: 12:00 AM ET (midnight Eastern Time)
- No action required: The system resumes sending automatically.
- Completion: The automation continues until all contacts receive the email.
For Text Message Automations
- Daily limit: 250 texts per phone number per day (default)
- When hit: The automation pauses, and the status shows "In Progress."
- What happens: Remaining texts automatically queue for the next day.
- Resume time: 12:00 AM ET (midnight Eastern Time)
- No action required: The system resumes sending automatically.
- Completion: The automation continues until all contacts receive the text.
Example Timeline
Day 1 (Monday):
- Automation starts with 500 contacts
- Sends 250 emails/texts (hits daily limit)
- Status: "In Progress"
- Remaining: 250 contacts queued
Day 2 (Tuesday):
- 12:00 AM ET: Limit resets, automation resumes automatically
- Sends remaining 250 emails/texts
- Status: "Completed"
Do not duplicate the automation
- Do NOT create a duplicate automation.
- Do NOT manually restart the automation.
- Let the automation complete automatically.
- Check Automation Reporting to monitor progress.
Checking Automation Progress
To see completion status:
- Go to Reports > Email Report (or Text Report).
- Select the automation name.
- View the sent count and pending count.
- Status shows "In Progress" until all sends complete.
- Status changes to "Completed" when finished.
When to contact Support
- Automation is stuck "In Progress" for 48+ hours beyond expected completion.
- Sent count isn't increasing after the limit reset.
- Error messages appear.
- You have an urgent need to bypass the daily limit (may require an account adjustment).
