Levitate's new Universal AI Assistant brings intelligent, on-demand support to every part of your workflow. Acting as a knowledgeable partner, it can answer client questions, draft personalized messages, surface account-specific insights, and help you work faster without sacrificing the personal touch that defines your relationships. Accessible across the Levitate platform, the assistant adapts to your style and priorities, making it easier than ever to stay connected, organized, and ahead of the curve.
Building on top of the powerful AI Levitate uses to help you write, edit, and customize content to fit your needs, the Universal AI Assistant is available in every piece of Levitate. The Assistant is conversational, moves seamlessly from page to page, and uses Levitate's extensive knowledge base to answer your questions, provide steps to complete a process, and provide personalized insights to your account.

Where the Assistant Appears
The AI assistant drawer is accessible throughout Levitate — open it from any page using the assistant icon in the corner. No setup is required. The drawer is now available on these additional pages:
- Recently viewed emails
- Recent meetings
- Keep in touch
- Upcoming key dates
- CSV import
- Team meeting links
- Managed accounts
- User and group management
What You Can Do
The Universal AI Assistant handles a wide range of tasks across your Levitate account. Some highlights:
Attach Files to Your Conversation
You can attach files directly to an AI chat message — the assistant reads the content and uses it to answer your question or help you take action. File attachments are supported in Universal AI, Admin AI, and Meeting Prep AI conversations.
Supported formats: PDF, PNG, JPG, JPEG, WEBP, TXT, MD, and CSV. You can attach up to 5 files per message, with a combined size limit of 20 MB across all attached files.
For example, attach a spreadsheet of prospects and ask the assistant to summarize key trends, or attach a policy document and ask it to pull out renewal dates.
Ask Who Changed What
Wondering who added a tag, removed a contact, or made a recent change to your account? Ask the assistant directly. It can look up tag change history, contact change history, and recent account-level events — so you can get a clear picture of what happened and when, without digging through logs.
Example prompts:
- "Who added the VIP tag to contacts in the last week?"
- "Show me recent changes to the Johnson contact."
- "What happened on our account yesterday?"
Book Team Meetings
The AI Assistant can schedule team meetings on your behalf. Ask it to book a meeting with a contact and it will check availability across your connected calendars, propose times, and send the invite — all without leaving the chat. Team meeting scheduling is fully supported — when you ask the assistant to book a team meeting, it launches the full scheduling flow and walks you through selecting a time, the same as it does for one-on-one meetings. This works with any calendar connected to your Levitate account through the Schedule a Meeting integration.

Manage Household Relationships
The AI assistant can create and manage household (spouse) relationships between contacts directly from chat. You can ask it to link two contacts as a household, view who is already in a contact's household, add more members to an existing household, or disband a household connection entirely.
Example prompts:
- "Create a household linking Jane Smith and John Smith."
- "Who is in the Johnson household?"
- "Add Mary Williams to the Williams household."
- "Disband the household for the Anderson contacts."
Note: Household management through the AI assistant is available only to accounts with the Households feature enabled. Contact your Success Manager if you'd like this turned on.
Generate Images with a Specific Aspect Ratio
When asking the AI assistant to generate an image, you can request a specific aspect ratio to match the format you need. The supported presets are Square (1:1) for profile photos or social feed posts, Portrait (4:5) for Instagram feed images, Landscape (16:9) for wide-format or website banners, and Story (9:16) for Instagram or Facebook Stories. Just mention the ratio or format in your prompt and the assistant will apply it.

- "Create a 9:16 story graphic for this week's market update."
- "Make a square profile photo with a professional tone."
- "Generate a portrait-format image for an Instagram post."
Conversation History
Ask Lev keeps a browsable history of your past conversations, accessible from the header of the Ask Lev drawer. You can pick up where you left off, start a fresh chat, or tidy up older threads — all without losing context.
- Browse past conversations — Open the conversation list in the drawer header to see all your previous chats, ordered by recency.
- Resume a conversation — Select any past conversation from the list to reopen it and continue the thread.
- Rename a conversation — Click the conversation name to edit it inline, so you can label chats in a way that makes sense to you.
Note: A new conversation is only created when you send your first message — opening the drawer does not start one automatically. You can run multiple conversations at the same time; each streams responses independently.
