What we can pull into Levitate from Bloomerang

  • Address Information (Street Address, City, State/Province, Zip/Postal Code, Country)
  • Tags (listed below)

The tags you can add are 'Bloomerang,' 'Status: Status Field,' and 'Type: Type Field.' Status will be something like active, type will be something like client. Adding 'AgencyBloc' as a tag will let us know that the contact has been added from or updated through Zapier.


Getting set up


Zapier is pretty user friendly, so if you're comfortable getting the Zap between Bloomerang and Levitate set up, go for it! Otherwise, you can always get help from our Implementations team. Your Success Specialist can assist with setting up a Zapier setup meeting.


To get set up with Bloomerang + Zapier, you'll need to have login access to Bloomerang.


Once you've confirmed that you have Zapier enabled on your account, you can follow this link to access our Bloomerang + Zapier template, the template saves some time by eliminating the need to manually enter each field that we can pull in and update in Levitate. It will also add the three tags listed above, by default.


First, you'll be asked to sign in to your Bloomerang account. You will just need your Bloomerang Username and Password to get connected.


Then, you will need to connect to Levitate using an API key. Here's how to create and access API keys using Levitate.


Once you're logged in, you're able to create one Zap that will both pull in new contacts and update existing contacts through Zapier. You'll be prompted to run a 'test step.' Once that runs, you can check in Levitate to see if the data pulled over. If everything looks alright with that test, you can go ahead and publish your Zap.


When setting up your Zap, make sure that you appropriately title it!

You are able to rename the Zap in the upper menu of the setup page.


How is ownership assigned to contacts pulled in from Zapier?

The user that generates the API key in Levitate will be assigned as owner of the contacts pulled into Levitate.
