Scheduling a Group Send from a Custom Dashboard Card

Levitate is able to provide the ability to create your own custom dashboard cards that can be used to schedule sends to a list of contacts approaching a key date (30, 60, 90, or 120 days before). These custom cards will appear on the dashboard next to other key date sends such as birthdays or renewals. In this example, you can see a custom dashboard card for donations, referring to the last date that a donation was made, and was included as a key date for some contacts. Note: key dates are simply key facts that include a date, and they can be entered manually or via spreadsheet.

Clicking on one of these custom dashboard cards will create a new blank email campaign. You may want to use an existing email template, which you can select at the bottom of the editor. In this example, a user has entered a key date for some contacts that refers to the last date that a donation was made. They may want to follow up with a message of gratitude the following year and perhaps a link to make another donation.

After this campaign is scheduled, it can be edited, rescheduled, or canceled from the group email report page. You can also add or remove recipients from this page. Once the email send has begun, you cannot make changes to the email.

Custom dashboard cards now support automations as well, so you can select an automation to be run from the dashboard card itself.
