Levitate's ServiceTitan integration helps home services businesses bring customer data into Levitate so teams can organize contacts, personalize outreach, and communicate more effectively.

Important Note About Writeback

The ServiceTitan integration is currently read-only.

That means Levitate can sync customer information from ServiceTitan into Levitate, but it does not push changes, notes, emails, texts, calls, or other communication activity back into ServiceTitan.

Integration Settings

The ServiceTitan integration includes settings to control how customers are synced, assigned, tagged, and segmented in Levitate.

Sync User

A Sync User is selected from users on the Levitate account with the appropriate permissions. This user is used to manage the data sync process between ServiceTitan and Levitate.

Client Credentials

ServiceTitan connection credentials are used to securely connect Levitate to ServiceTitan.

These may include:

  • Tenant ID
  • Client ID
  • Client Secret

Ownership Mapping

Contacts are mapped in Levitate based on Owner.

This determines which Levitate user is associated with synced ServiceTitan customers.

Segment by Tags

Segment by Tags allows you to control which contacts sync into Levitate based on selected tags.

This can be used to include or exclude specific groups of customers.

What Do We Pull In?

Levitate pulls the following contact data from ServiceTitan:

  • First & Last Name
  • Street Address
  • City
  • State
  • Zip
  • Country
  • Email Address(es)
  • Phone Number(s)
  • Do Not Mail Tag
  • Do Not Service Tag
  • Custom Fields from ServiceTitan as Tags
  • Membership and Membership Type Data as Tags and Key Facts
  • Service Agreement Data as Tags and Key Facts

Tags

Levitate can create tags from ServiceTitan customer data to help organize and segment contacts.

Standard Tags

Available standard tags may include:

  • City
  • State
  • Postal Code
  • Do Not Mail
  • Do Not Service

For yes/no fields, Levitate displays the value clearly as Yes or No.

Custom Field Tags

Custom customer fields from ServiceTitan can also be synced into Levitate as tags.

Supported custom field types include:

  • Text
  • Numeric
  • Drop-down

Custom field tags appear in the format:

Custom Field Name: Custom Field Value

Long tags may be shortened for display.

Data Sync Behavior

Once connected, ServiceTitan customer data syncs into Levitate on a daily basis.

Included Records

Only records categorized as Customers in ServiceTitan are eligible to sync into Levitate.

Excluded Records

Leads and prospects do not sync from ServiceTitan into Levitate.

Deactivated Customers

If a customer is marked as deactivated in ServiceTitan, Levitate will automatically archive that contact after the deactivation update is received.

Archived contacts are hidden from user view and excluded from Levitate communication tools.

Getting Started

To connect ServiceTitan to Levitate:

  1. Confirm access to the required ServiceTitan connection details
  2. Connect the Levitate app within ServiceTitan
  3. Configure the Sync User in Levitate
  4. Add the required ServiceTitan credentials
  5. Select desired tags and ownership settings
  6. Configure Segment by Tags, if needed
  7. Save settings and allow the initial sync to begin

Once setup is complete, ServiceTitan customers will begin appearing in Levitate based on the selected configuration.

Q: Does Levitate write information back to ServiceTitan?

A: No. The ServiceTitan integration is read-only. Levitate does not update contact information, notes, communications, or other data in ServiceTitan.

A: No. Levitate only syncs records categorized as Customers in ServiceTitan.

Q: What happens to deactivated ServiceTitan customers?
