Contact Visibility
When adding contacts to Levitate, there are a few methods in which contacts can be made public versus private. Here's a look into how that works:
Your Success Specialist or our support team can change this default contact visibility. The Levitate default is Public.
If it's set to Public all Levitate users will see these contacts.
If it's set to Private, only Levitate owners and connections will see these contacts.
This setting will apply to imports from email systems, calendars, spreadsheets, and integrations. It is an account wide setting.

FAQs
Q: What visibility do newly imported contacts get by default?
A: Newly imported contacts — whether imported from a spreadsheet, email sync, calendar, or integration — receive the account-level default visibility setting. The Levitate default is Public, meaning all users in the account can see those contacts. Your Success Specialist or support team can change this account-wide default to Private if needed.
Q: Can I set up Levitate so that two specific users can see each other's contacts but those contacts remain hidden from everyone else?
A: Levitate's visibility model is account-wide: contacts are either Public (visible to all users) or Private (visible only to the contact owner and their connections). There is no setting to share contacts between a select pair of users while hiding them from all others. If contacts need to be visible to specific colleagues, the closest approach is to keep those contacts Private — they will then be visible to the contact owner and any users who are listed as connections on that contact. Contact visibility can be changed individually on a contact's profile or in bulk from the Contacts page. If you need more granular sharing, contact your Success Specialist to discuss your team's setup.
