Levitate Contact Profiles

1: Edit Contact Info

When choosing the 'Edit' button in the top right corner of the customer information section the contact can be edited— their name, job title, company, website, address, email, and more can be updated.


  1. Contact Visibility

Visibility can be switched between 'All Employees' and 'Me.' Regular users are not able to see private contacts, Super Admins are able to see all, even private, contacts. Contact visibility can be updated for a single employee here, or en masse on the Contact Page.



  1. Keep in Touch...

You can make sure no one slips through the cracks by setting up a reminder to Keep in Touch. The drop-down menu here lists time frames in which you'll be reminded to get in touch with that specific contact.


  1. Relationship Analytics

In this box, you'll see when you had your last interaction with the contact. The time period is also color coded with a status based on when you reached out.

  • Green— contacted within the past 30 days
  • Yellow— contacted within the past year
  • Red— no contact within the past year, or a tag alert for the contact is due
  • Grey— no interaction within Levitate, or brand new contact

  1. Key Facts

Key facts can be completely text based, for your own knowledge when looking at a contact profile, or they can be tied to a date. To add one, click 'Add a key fact' and all different types of key facts can be associated with the contact.


  • General— not date related, only text based
  • Birthday
  • Anniversary— for something like a closing date
  • Wedding— date of marriage
  • Household— will connect two spouses, both contacts in Levitate, into a Household
  • Financial Review
  • Construction Date

Other key facts related to donations, policies, or opportunities can be added through the corresponding data board.


  1. Tags

Here, you can associate tags with a contact, for better grouping and more streamlined sending.


  1. History

Here, you'll see a timeline of all communications with a contact— emails, text messages, notes, logged calls, sent cards.


  1. History Filters

A dropdown list of filters to help sort and narrow in on interactions you're viewing on the timeline.


  1. Connections

This tab will show who the owner of, and connections of, a contact are. Ownership can be assigned via the Connections page as well.


  1. Data Boards

This tab will show activity from all connected Data Boards— that includes the Policy Board, the Donor Board, and Opportunity Boards.


  1. The Plus Button

Hovering over the + will allow you to create a note, log a phone call, create an action item, start an automation, or send an email.


Finer Details

The highlighted field under the First and Last Name is the company in Levitate. Generally, Levitate creates companies based on a user's associated domain.


Visibility— this is a dropdown menu that allows the user to make the contact they are viewing 'public' aka viewable by all Levitate users, or 'private' aka viewable only by the contact owner or connections.


Mail icon: send an email to this contact

Stamp icon: send a handwritten card to this contact

Calendar icon: schedule a meeting with this contact


Custom Fields


Custom Fields can be created through an accounts Admin settings by a Success or Support Specialist. From there the field itself can be added through spreadsheet import or manually through the contact's profile. Read more about Custom Fields here.


FAQs


Can logged phone calls count as a touchpoint for Keep In Touch reminders?

If you use the Levitate mobile app to call or call your contacts, Levitate will automatically log that as an interaction.

If you want to notate in Levitate that you've done so after the fact (in the case that you did not use your mobile app), you can always log a phone call from the blue plus sign at the bottom of the contact's profile.
