Automation Email step send options

As of May 2024, there are a few updates as to who and how automation email steps can be sent.

Who can I send from?

When setting up an automation email step, the user setting up the send can make it so that a specific email step is sent from the Current User, Contact Owner, or specific connection type. Connection Types are limited to those with an AMS360, QQ Catalyst, Hawksoft, and MyCase users. Each of these integrations have unique identifiers for each connection type (like Producer, CSR, etc.).

Send on Behalf has to be enabled in order to see these options.

Internal Send Option

Levitate users are now able to send emails internally, to themselves or another Levitate user, as part of an automation. To use this feature, there is a new setting that a member of Success or Support can enable under 'Features' called Show Internal Send Options. Once that's on, the ability to send internally will show under advanced options on the automation step. This will work for all types of automations.
