Getting Compliance Approval

For our clients in the Financial vertical, many have to get compliance approval on content going out to more than 2 recipients. Levitate has a workflow just to facilitate that process. For all Financial customers, this workflow is a setting that is turned on by default. If you are your own compliance officer or do not need compliance approval prior to sending out campaigns, you can reach out to your Success Manager or to turn this feature off.

When Compliance is Required

You can now schedule a campaign to go out ahead of time, and it will be held in a pending state until you've worked with compliance to get it approved. We will also automatically send you the email content along with a copy of the email in PDF form.

To get started, simply navigate to any campaign as per usual, select the recipients you'd like to send to, and click on the "Next: Compliance Options" on the bottom right.

On the following screen, you can decide whether compliance approval is needed. 

If compliance approval is not needed, click on "Send Campaign without Compliance". If compliance approval is needed, you can schedule it on the day you'd like for the campaign to go out -- but it will NOT send until you come back later and mark it as approved.

Meanwhile, Levitate has already sent a sample of the email along with a PDF to your inbox.

At this point, the campaign will be held in a pending state, and you can work with your compliance officer with the email and PDF we've sent.

Marking Campaign as Approved

Once the compliance officer has approved the campaign, you can come back to the content calendar and select the campaign that is still pending approval. 

From there, you can mark the campaign as "approved" and it will send on the date you had picked earlier.

We will also send you a reminder the day before the campaign send date in case it has not been marked as approved yet.

Working with your Success Manager

Your success manager can also queue up content for you the same way - they can suggest pieces in your Content Calendar, you may see multiple suggested campaigns that are pending your (and compliance approval). You can click on "Send me a copy" in the "Compliance Approval" box for each of the suggestions you see, get them approved, and come back to mark those as "approved" campaigns.
