Levitate + QQ Catalyst Integration
Overview
The QQ Catalyst integration connects your CRM data with Levitate to help you automate outreach, strengthen client relationships, and keep your contact data up to date.

How Data Syncs
- Levitate connects to QQ Catalyst through a secure API connection.
- Contact and policy data sync into Levitate automatically twice per day.
- Updates made in QQ Catalyst will reflect in Levitate on the next sync cycle.
Note: Initial syncs can take time depending on data size and API limitations.
What Will Sync into Levitate
Contact Information
- First and last name (nickname used when available)
- Email addresses (primary preferred)
- Phone numbers
- Address details
- Company name
If a contact is missing key information (such as name or email), it may not be imported.
Ownership & User Mapping
- Contacts are assigned based on either:
- Producer (default) or
- CSR (Customer Service Representative)
- These roles are mapped to Levitate users to determine ownership
- Each contact will have one owner, with optional visibility into both roles via tags
Key Facts
Levitate automatically creates important reminders such as:
- Birthdays
- Policy expiration dates (from all active policies)
These can be used for automation and personalized outreach.
Tags
Tags help organize and segment your contacts. Common tags include:
- Client / Inactive Client
- Personal / Commercial
- Prospect / Winback
- Carrier
- Line of Business
- Policy Source
- Customer ID
- Location (branch/location tag from QQ)
- Ownership (Producer/CSR)
Tags can be customized to control segmentation and targeting.
Contact Status & Segmentation
Levitate categorizes contacts based on policy data:
- Client: Active with policies
- Inactive Client: No longer active
- Prospect: No active policies
- Winback: Previously active, now expired
You can control whether prospects are included during setup.
Writeback to QQ Catalyst
Levitate can send activity data back into QQ Catalyst, including:
- Emails
- Notes
- Phone call logs
- Text messages
- Handwritten cards
Where this appears: All writebacks are visible in QQ Catalyst under the contact's Tasks/Notes tab.
This feature needs to be enabled by your Success Specialist. If you don't see your Levitate activities pushing to your contacts in QQ Catalyst, reach out to them to turn on this setting.
Contact Filtering & Settings
You can customize how contacts sync into Levitate:
- Primary Email Only: Import one or multiple email addresses
- Commercial Profiles: Choose to include only primary/secondary contacts or all related contacts
- Segment by Tags: Include or exclude contacts based on tags
- Prospect Controls: Define whether to include all, none, or a subset of prospects
Sync Behavior & Expectations
- Initial sync begins after users connect
- Sync runs twice daily
- Initial data load may take several hours or days depending on volume
- Sync speed may vary due to API limitations
Requirements for Setup
To enable the integration, you'll need:
- At least one (and sometimes multiple) QQ Catalyst users to connect
- If users have restricted access in QQ, multiple connections may be required to sync all contacts
- Ability to map Producers or CSRs to Levitate users
- Decisions on:
- Ownership mapping (Producer vs. CSR)
- Prospect inclusion
- Tag preferences
Important Notes
- Only contacts updated in the last 2 years will sync
- Second insured contacts are not supported
- Contacts will only load if they belong to a mapped Producer or CSR
- Sync timing may vary due to QQ Catalyst API limitations
Personal and Commercial Nested Contacts
For Personal lines contacts, Levitate does not pull in additional contacts (nested/relationship contacts) from QQ Catalyst.
Commercial lines contacts in QQ Catalyst typically represent companies with nested "Business Contacts" that represent individual people. Levitate pulls in each nested business contact separately and combines their personal details with the company details of the parent commercial contact.
By default, only the business contact marked primary is loaded. All business contacts can be loaded by request to your Success Specialist.
FAQs
Q: Does Levitate write back to QQ Catalyst?
A: Yes. Emails, calls, texts, and notes can be written back and appear in the Tasks/Notes tab. This must be enabled by your Success Specialist — if you don't see activities pushing through, just let them know.
Q: Why does syncing take time?
A: Sync speed depends on QQ Catalyst's API limits and the size of your database.
Q: Do all users need to connect?
A: It depends. If one user has access to all contacts, only one connection is needed. If access is restricted, multiple users may need to connect.
